CSDA Siriului

The financing scheme of the investment from European funds required the adaptation of its functional configuration for the needs of small and medium enterprises. Thus, each level is designed modularly, with the possibility of dividing the leasable surfaces for office spaces into a flexible and sufficiently large number of autonomous units, with surfaces adapted to the needs of SMEs (80 – 160 sqm), with equal access to a series of common facilities, meeting rooms per level, sanitary groups, services of common interest on the 1st floor of the building (conference rooms, copy service, professional services, etc.).

As for the exterior image, a balanced composition was chosen, in which the verticality of the gaps on the side of the main facade is counterbalanced by the dominant horizontality of the central area, supported by a succession of metallic sun-breezes, highlighting the edges of the floors , the texture of the corrugated sheet and the three large sash windows. The latter punctuate the three accent elements for the main facade – the "boxes" finished with Trespa type panels. From a chromatic point of view, the black volume of the balconies and the corrugated sheeting of the same color stand out against the white background of the facade field. The three yellow "boxes", as well as the vertical panels that detach from the glazed areas of the side facades, represent the contrasting elements that articulate, from a chromatic point of view, the built volume.

CSDA Siriului represents an important achievement for the Bucharest and Romanian market, demonstrating the qualitative added value brought by the European financing mechanism, the feasibility of a high-level construction under the conditions of responsible cost control.
